Written by Welcome to the Georgian Bay Titans Rugby Football Club Website for the 2011 season.
The club is looking forward to another exciting season of league rugby for both new and experienced players. Club members will have the opportunity to develop their skills, gain valuable athletic and life experience, establish deep and lasting friendships and further their love of rugby through league play and tournaments.
This year we are pleased to introduce our first “Senior” team – the Georgian Bay Titans Senior Women’s Rugby Team, with female players ranging in age from 16 up. For the first time ever we can look forward to some exciting club rugby action by Ontario women on the Collingwood Collegiate Institute pitch .
You can also anticipate to some “mini” activity on Saturday mornings as well – we will be offering some additional time on the pitch in coordination with our Saturday junior boys and senior women’s games. It’s going to be a busy summer on the CCI pitch!.

Youth Contact Rugby
The Titans will field 4 junior contact rugby teams for the 2011 season: Men’s Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, and Under 20 (Junior A).
Outdoor practices will run twice a week from early May until the end of August. Most teams will have weekly games held within a small geographical area.
Outdoor practices and home games will be held at Collingwood Collegiate Institute unless otherwise notified.

Georgian Bay Titans/Optimists Mini Co-Ed Rugby League
After an extremely successful and enjoyable inaugural season last year, the Titans are again pleased to offer the Georgian Bay Titans/Optimists Mini Co-Ed Rugby League for athletes 6-12 years of age. This flag rugby program will teach young athletes the basics of rugby in a fun, non-contact learning environment.
The league will run Tuesday evenings and each night athletes will spend time learning the basic skills of the game and then practice what they have learned in a house-league style flag rugby match.
Many thanks to the Collingwood Optimists for their generous support in helping us continue our Mini Flag Rugby League.
Please note the change of days this season – we have scheduled games & practices for Tuesday evenings, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm; Cameron Street Public School.
Georgian Bay Titans Senior Women’s Rugby
Practices will be once a week, Thursday evenings, at Cameron St. Public School unless otherwise notified. Home games will be held on Saturdays, after the U14 and/or U16 games, at the pitch at CCI.
Schedules and team information is posted on the “Activities” Section of the website. Games, tournaments and other activities will be noted on the Calendar as soon as they are scheduled.
